The journey begins with a story mode song where Boyfriend takes on the formidable Robot Sandy, the infamous antagonist from SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom, in an intense battle accompanied by the melody of “Nuts-and-Bolts”. Enhancing the musical variety, the Freeplay menu introduces five more songs featuring a range of characters. SpongeBob faces off in a rap battle against Nat Peterson in the track titled “On Ice”. Subsequently, Boyfriend encounters his new rival, Doodlebob, recognized from Frankendoodle and Doodle Dimension in the Nintendo DS game Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition.
